Turning $10 into $100 Part 1

A lot of people are budgeting as diligently as possible and some of us have even automated our saving via direct deposit to make it easier. Some of us have budgets while some of us are just trying to stretch our money any way possible. Growth has to be intentional and might mean sifting through some dirt. All of our growth will be individual and if we grow at our own pace we can invest from a place of peace and confidence rather than FOMO.

What are you talking about?

Confidence and peace are inside games. They require malleability. Be curious about your assets and liabilities and have the courage within your introspection to excavate new and possibly unfamiliar methods of generating value.

We all have varying treasures but sometimes it’s hidden beneath layers of dirt and pressure. I am not saying your old baseball cards or comic books are valuable but maybe your closet might be a good place to start hunting for those high-end items you no longer wear.

Fundamentally it seems like value or money is generated when there is a desired proposition and meaningful exchange. For the next 7 days, try to see how much you can collect in "seed" capital to invest in some good ground. In essence, our money will be our seeds and our #Stockbae will be our good ground.

Tip:

Look around your home for items you no longer need or want. Also, google your local Salvation Army &/or Good Will and get curious about how far $10 can go! Remember you have to first know what people want to buy, so looking at the "sold section" on Poshmark and eBay for clues.

Here’s excatly what to do in 5 steps:

  1. Download Poshmark

  2. Follow between 200 to 1,000 people who have bought what you are selling. (Make sure folks actually want to buy your items and you're not just "hoping" people will buy your things aka a little research goes a long way!)

  3. Take 5 amazing photos of your items with the best lighting you can get!

  4. Easily Print label to ship once items sell on the app

  5. Post label within free USPS boxes or bags (Here is a link to even get them mailed to you!)

Keep a simple google tracker, documenting is a powerful tool that allows you to scale milestones. Now once you get your first $100 to $500 in profit we can begin talking about the potential power of how to choose a #StockBae .

Final thoughts

Buying things at the thrift store and selling them online for a profit is known as arbitraging. Similar practices are also done within Amazon FBA and book (which we'll discuss later). Stay tuned for Part 2 where we show you real examples of items found in the house and at #nyc #thift stores where we turn $10 to $100.
